Rhonda Reeves, MS Ed Head of Corporate Learning & Development, National Oilwell Varco (NOV)Rhonda leads Corporate Learning at NOV, a Houston-based multinational energy services provider. She holds a Master of Education from Purdue University in Learning Design and Technology and has worked in the Learning field for over 20 years in various roles as an analyst, facilitator, designer and consultant, partnering with various global clients to deliver management and leadership programs. A creative at heart, Rhonda looks at problems from another angle; and has met the challenging conditions of her industry by innovating learning interventions that satisfy her three basic requirements: 1) they are relevant to business needs and employees, 2) they provide real-time application so employees can learn in context, and 3) they create real business impact. With these guidelines she created one of her signature blended solutions aimed at helping mid-career influencers to innovate real results in their jobs. As a result, employees have innovated business efficiencies and revenue-generating ideas to move the business forward. Her blended programs are also delivered at $0 cost to the business and with zero disruption from the pandemic. Rhonda speaks frequently with groups on learning innovation, blended learning, overhauling traditional performance management, empathy mapping, personal branding and leadership topics. This year she presented her innovation breakthroughs at the Harvard Partner’s Convention to a large group of top national learning leaders.
