Early career learners are critical to organizational success. Currently, Gen Z makes up the majority of employees in the early stages of their careers. CLN research shows that Gen Z’ers will constitute approximately a third of the workforce by 2030. Gen Z employees are the future company leaders. Given how important Gen Z’ers are to the development of the organization and the distinct way that they learn, it is crucial to explore what makes them tick.
For this reason, Corporate Learning Network developed Project Foundations, a research project dedicated to exploring fundamental questions around the type of learning content that motivates Gen Z. CLN also analyzed a variety of learning solutions for Gen Z, including those highlighted in The CLN Future Ten. Finally, we conducted a pilot program to test our hypothesis on effective learning methods for early careerists.
